Conference "Building the relations of tomorrow. European Union and the challenges of Direct Neighborhood"
21.04.2007 15:33:16 - Dodane przez:admin
The conference Building the relations of tomorrow. European Union and the challenges of Direct Neighborhood will be the venue for launching the Direct Neighborhood Initiative of Aleksander Kwasniewski. It will encompass strategies of cooperation between the Enlarged EU and the Neighboring countries. It will address both the political and economic dimension of the relations with countries that do not have an immediate EU membership perspective. The Initiative aims at fostering understanding and coping with discouragement that could occur in our neighbourhood in response to the possible postponement of further enlargements
The Amicus Europae Foundation is developing a strategy paper examining the key issues and putting forward concrete recommendations for EU and member states actions. This paper will serve as the basis for the Initiative proposals and subsequent discussions at our conference in Warsaw.
The conference will take place on the 12th of June 2007 at the Hilton Hotel in Warsaw.
