International Conference "European Union and Africa. Challanges and opportunities for cooperation"

On the 21st of May the Amicus Europae Foundation organized an international conference "European Union and Africa. Challanges and opportunities for cooperation". Mr. Michael Ayiam Osigwe, head of a leading Nigerian Foundation focusing on international issues and development policy was one of our main speaker.
The Conference was dedicated to disussions about Africa's development, perspectives and opportunities for broadening the cooperation with the enlarged European Union. Also raised were topics like political change (i.a. elections in Nigeria), local and regional conflicts, global problems (poverty, AIDS).
