Meeting of business societies of Poland and Ukraine at the University of Economics and Law in Dniepropietrovsk
20.08.2009 12:17:10 - adminBetween 28th and 30th of May 2009 took place a conference called “Contemporary Polish- Ukrainian relations. Common way, potential and perspectives” organized by the University of Economics and Law in Dniepropietrovsk
Participants had an unique opportunity to attend a meeting with the Presidents of Poland and Ukraine, who initiated business meetings of both countries as well as an opportunity to present companies, talk current problems of business development and overcoming economic crisis, make new connections with institutions, that support enterprise and to meet with business leaders.
Main issues for discussion were divided into three areas: energy- management, monitoring, forecasts, calculation of consumption in industry and new technologies, innovation- common projects with use of EU structural founds, competitiveness and ways to increase export, education and science.
On the first day of conference, both President A.Kwasniewski and President L.Kuchma attended a meeting with students and lecturers of the University.
Among guests of the official part were also Marek Siwiec, Vice-president of the European Parliament and Volodymyr Bondar, Chef of the Dniepropietrovsk Regional Public Administration.
